According to Milbrandt, the best news for people in Connecticut is that workforce development is alive and well. “There are new innovating programs and ways of thinking that are redefining how we go about including everyone in today’s work environment. From the high school graduate to the Ph.D., the fully employed looking to move on or the incumbent worker seeking a promotion, no matter what your circumstance or education is, employers need you and are willing to help you get the training needed to become a part of an exciting future in this state,” continues Milbrandt. The objective of this episode is to examine the issues surrounding workforce development through the individual and inspirational stories of everyday people in professions that span the continuum of Connecticut’s workforce.
